Terms of Use

Version 4 October 2026 · Draft for pre-launch legal review

These Terms govern use of the CleanCutsLab website, account, AI Studio, Production Apps, community, subscriptions and credit purchases. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. The Privacy Statement explains how personal data is handled.

1. Provider and contact

CleanCutsLab is operated by Richard Wallaart in the Netherlands. Until registration is completed, the Chamber of Commerce number and formal business address will be added before live sales begin. Questions or complaints: cleancutslab@hotmail.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. Information must be accurate. Keep credentials and verification codes confidential and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. One person may not evade restrictions through multiple accounts.

3. AI service and user responsibility

AI output is probabilistic. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other output or unsuitable for a particular purpose. CleanCutsLab does not promise uniqueness, copyright eligibility or non-infringement. You remain responsible for reviewing output and for how it is used or published. Do not rely on output as professional, medical, legal, financial or safety advice.

4. Your content

You retain rights you hold in prompts, uploads and outputs. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, including consent from identifiable people. You grant CleanCutsLab and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit and reproduce that content only to operate, secure, support and moderate the service and to comply with law. Private creations remain private unless you deliberately share them.

5. Credits and generation charges

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Stripe processes payments. Monthly plans are billed monthly. Annual plans are billed annually while plan credits refresh monthly. Upgrades may take effect immediately with a proportionate charge; downgrades normally take effect at the next renewal. You can cancel through Manage subscription; access continues until the paid period ends unless law requires otherwise. Prices, billing interval and taxes are shown before payment.

7. Withdrawal and consumer rights

Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts. If you request immediate performance during that period, you may owe a proportionate amount for service already supplied; loss of a withdrawal right for digital content requires the confirmations required by law. CleanCutsLab will not restrict mandatory rights. The checkout flow must present the legally required information and confirmation before live sales.

8. Availability, maintenance and external providers

We aim to provide a secure and reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. AI generation depends on third-party providers, hosting, internet and payment services. We may perform maintenance or temporarily limit a failing or unsafe feature. This clause does not remove the consumer’s statutory right to conformity, repair, price reduction, termination or refund where applicable.

9. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, non-payment, unlawful content or a material or repeated breach. Except in urgent or legally restricted cases, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to appeal. Measures should be proportionate. Users may close their account, subject to required retention of financial and legal records.

10. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or intent or deliberate recklessness by CleanCutsLab. For consumers, liability is governed by applicable law. For business users only, liability for an attributable failure is limited to direct loss and, per event and calendar year, the fees paid by that business user in the preceding six months, except where such limitation is unlawful. Indirect loss, lost profit and lost data are excluded for business users to the extent permitted by law. Users must take reasonable steps to limit loss and keep their own copies of important inputs and outputs.

11. Changes, law and complaints

Material changes will be announced in advance where reasonably possible. Changes do not retroactively remove acquired rights. Dutch law applies, without depriving an EU consumer of mandatory protection in their country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent court. Contact us first so we can investigate and respond.
